Recommended Technology Platform
This is the platform we standardize on — the categories of hardware and software we recommend, deploy, and support best. Standardizing on a proven, well-supported stack is what lets us secure and manage your environment consistently and respond quickly when something needs attention.
We update this list from time to time as technologies age and new ones are released and tested by us. This page describes the categories we recommend and representative products in each; the specific make, model, and configuration we propose for your business is set out in your quote or proposal.
Productivity & email
- Microsoft 365 (our preferred platform) or Google Workspace — business email, documents, and collaboration, with security and compliance controls enabled from day one.
Device management
- Mobile Device Management on every endpoint — Windows devices managed through Microsoft Intune, Macs through a dedicated Apple MDM. No unmanaged devices on the network.
- 24/7 remote monitoring and management — every device enrolled in our RMM for patching, alerting, and proactive maintenance.
Computers & servers
- Business-grade workstations, laptops, and servers from major manufacturers (such as Dell and Lenovo), specified to comfortably run their intended workload and kept under active warranty.
Network
- Business-grade managed networking (such as Ubiquiti UniFi) — firewall, switching, and wireless under unified, centrally managed control, with network segmentation as appropriate.
Server platform & identity
- Supported server operating systems and centralized identity (such as Windows Server with Active Directory or cloud identity), kept on vendor-supported, actively patched versions.
Voice
- Business VoIP telephony — hosted, business-class phone service.
